My Approach
As a Japanese Teacher and Language Coach with more than six thousand hours of experience around the globe, I’ve helped hundreds of students speak Japanese, not only quickly, but also while enjoying themselves.
How do I do this? While you may only spend one hour a week with me, my teaching methods immerse you in Japanese so that you learn every minute of every day. I also make sure every lesson is entertaining, by using bespoke and topical content that includes a variety of media types such as videos, recordings and articles. Whatever your level, with my strong focus on speaking and listening, you will quickly gain the confidence to speak freely and easily!
My Availability
I am available to teach seven days a week from 8am to 10pm. The first lesson is always FREE and includes a 30-minute assessment, within which, we identify your current level, establish your aspirations, and setup a bespoke teaching structure developed specifically for you and your schedule.
Whether you live in London, New York, Tokyo or Timbuktu, I will be able to teach you Japanese quickly and effectively, without you ever needing to leave the comfort of your home.
My Prices
To keep things simple, I charge a flat hourly rate for weekly lessons. This includes checking your homework and access to my online teaching resources. Why not just give it a try? The first hour is FREE!

If weekly lessons don’t suit your schedule, you can also book lessons on an ad-hoc basis for £48 per hour. Furthermore, consider learning with a friend to split the cost, as each additional person costs just £8 per hour.
